Welcome To Our New Website!

After months of hard work establishing and setting up Bloom Music Community CIC, we are so excited to finally launch our new website! The team and I are so thrilled to have you here and to show you everything that we’ve been up to over the past six months.

Setting up a brand new organisation from scratch certainly hasn’t been easy. From learning about becoming a CIC to buying every piece of equipment, sourcing venues to subscribing new members, there has been so much to do. It’s all been made possible though, with the help of our amazing directors and volunteers. In our first six months, we’ve welcomed over 100 members to our community, fundraised and received funding to purchase over £13,000 worth of equipment and uniforms, and established 5 amazing musical groups, including brass bands and choirs.

Creating Bloom has been a dream of mine since being a teenager, and to see it finally coming to life now is surreal but incredibly exciting. I want to say the biggest thank you to all those who have been involved in getting Bloom established. I won’t list everyone as undoubtedly, I’ll forget someone important - but you all know who you are! Thank you also to all the local business owners, other CICs, councillors, and all those who have offered valuable advice, support, and help. Finally, massive thanks go to Sue and Jenna, for being such amazing cheerleaders through this whole journey. Thank you for all the time and effort you’ve put into Bloom, and for the support you’ve given me. I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without you!
